okay....so maybe that title is a little more sensationalist than it needs to be....
i'll be alone, certainly.....well, doh!! Anyone who has read prev blogs would know that...
and, as to sleeping rough.....well....perhaps...slightly more roughly than usual would be closer to the truth as my old bedroom furniture is being removed on 30th and my new furniture will not be delivered till 8th at the earliest.....it was the only way i could arrange it....so i'll be sleeping on the floor for New Years eve.....i could sleep on the sofa but experience has taught me that the floor is infinitely more comfortable...and i don't keep falling off!!!
Anyway....this knowledge got me thinking about those who will also be alone and sleeping rough this festive season, but their situation is through no choice, or fault, of their own....
so i'm "buying" some rooms at Centerpoint over Christmas and New Year so that at least a few young people will be off the streets, fed, warm and safe.....
surely that's a most worthwhile knowledge to take into the New Year?

Jesus wept, don't hound her on her own blog. Yes it is a choice she makes, but she obviously feels it is the right one for her at this moment. Kes, Donating to centrepoint is a wonderful thing. I hope the new year brings you a bit of happiness.
