I was musing, as I often do, on the 'ignore' option. Looking at my own ignore list, I was amused (or perhaps amazed) to note that in my time on IC, I have never felt the need to ignore anyone. Not once.
I realise that for some people it might be a solution to constant bothersome memos or chat requests, but it made me wonder: am I so dull that nobody wants to bother me, or is it perhaps because I am male or a dom?
(By the way, that question is rhetorical; I have no need nor desire to have an answer!)

I have never used the ignore option either, so am hoping it is not because we are dull!!

I put anyone on ignore who's contacted me, not got the reply they wanted and then pestered. My ignore list is three pages long. "Nothing saves anyone's life, Sir. It just postpones their death." - Posner , The History Boys. |

Haven't hit the ignore button as yet; fairly sure it's because on first appearances I'm quite dull and usually inspire a feeling of general apathy, so I don't get many unsolicited memos. It's only when people really get to know me that they run for the hills.
