Hello all,
I am pulling my hair out here. I need to write a product review for an online magazine and they have requested for it to be send as PDF.
I´m sure its easy enough, but I am just toooooo dumb it seems, please, please can you help and tell me how to save a document in pdf format?????
I am currently sitting at my old PC which uses Word and/or Works. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance, Polite

Unless you are on Office 2007, there is nothing built in that will do it for you.
The Adobe PDF writer is very expensive. Download this tool. http://www.primopdf.com/index.aspx You want the free version. It is installs as a Printer. Therefore in Word you will choose File, Print and then select PrimoPDF. You will then get some options, which you can complete if you wish. If you have Acrobat Reader installed on your machine, then after creating the PDF it will open and allow you to view it. S -- Turned out nice again. |

Try this. http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/ It should install itself as a printer and when you have finished your document, print it out using the PDF creator and it should ask you where to save it. Or you could download Open Office which let's you save as PDF. |

Open Office can export files in PDF format and is free. |

Or you could print it and then scan it back to your computer - scanners include software to create PDFs. xx I must be only one in a million (© David Bowie) |

I use http://www.pdf995.com/ when I can't get to Adobe. Many days one day |

There are plenty of free online converters where you upload your document and they email the pdf copy to you. It'll save you having to install something if you're not too sure what you're doing. Try these two: |

Depending on how often your going to use would obvisouly suggest one of the free pdf programs out there but normally you can download a trial version of the adobe pdf program that you can use for a short time. |
