No, I'm not talking about me being castrated, it's Ras and Cal who will be losing their bollocks. I removed the food bowls half an hour ago and they have just noticed, The taxi is booked for 9am, tomorrow morning at ten past nine they will be in the vets ready.

In some ways I do feel guilty, call it male solidarity, but those bollocks have to go, Ras is already constantly trying to hump Cal and I think them having bollocks is what pisses off Cuffs.

I keep thinking of it as a gift at christmas, though in their cases the sacks will be empty.

Lovely pics!

I had my tom cat neutured a month ago. The vet said she'd

never seen such a big cat. Since he was 'done' he's got

even bigger - I suppose that's normal now he's not out

fighting every night, but I don't know. He doesn't go out

half as much now and when he does he looks like he can't

remember what he used to go out for :-)

A neighbour used to have a tom cat that was the terror of the neighbourhood. His life consisted of shagging and fighting, although not necessarily in that order.

He ended up in a terrible state. His fur was matted, he smelt, he had an infected eye. He looked a bit like Tom after Jerry had got the better of him.

Anyway, the neighbour bowed to the inevitable, and had him neutered. Within three weeks he turned into a lovely, glossy, healthy cat.

I know it's not nice, mucking about with cats like that, but sometimes it really is for the best.

Both are fine, castration went well, no sutures, staples or anything else to worry about. I'm sure they will be back to running around like maniacs and trying to kill each other in the next few hours.
