Did anyone else hear this on Radio 4 this morning? http://news.bbc.co.uk/today/hi/today/newsid_8403... It leaves it rather ambiguous as to whether it was all consensual, but there are positive comments about his art being better when he was involved in SM. "His sufferring was, to him, real pleasure".
