Crossdressing (33)

Interesting observations. Although i didn't get much chance to cross dress as a child/teenager apart from sneaky wearing of my mothers clothing (sounds so Norman Bates when you put it like that :) ) i can fondly recall one Halloween party where i went out dressed as a skeleton. I wasn't so much bothered by the skeleton part but i did enjoy being able to wear shiny black leggings and black leotard onto which the skeleton 'bones' were attached. I must have been 7 or 8 at the time.

Funny how these things lurk in the recesses of ones mind !

Crossdressing

I very rarely crossdress.

Maybe for about an hour maximum, once every two months, and all I do is simply wear a leather skirt and maybe a lipstick and/or nail polish.

When I was about 10 years old, I remember mum arriving home from the market with what she thought was a shirt when she bought it, but once home, realised it was a girl's blouse and asked if I'd wear it. I did so without thinking anything of it.

So, I was just wondering, were any of you who CD ever given or dressed in girl's clothes while young?

Oh, here we go, the truth was out there after all.

As i've always been tall and big and have size 8 feet, for a long time it was much easier to find mens clothes that fitted me. Always wore shirts rather than blouses at school. Also, for a long time, any womens clothes above size 14-16 were hideous coloured granny tents so black and white mens shirts and oversized t-shirts were staples in my wardrobe (still are actually)

I wore mens clothes through my teens, because women's clothes in my size were hideous, like Morphia said. Men's jeans, shirts etc... But I have quite small feet. so I wore boys shoes.

I'm sort of getting the impression from the comments on the thread that there's a difference in reasoning and aims between males who crossdress and females who crossdress.

Males who crossdress seem (from the above examples) to do it to feel pretty, because they like women's clothing, because it's kinky.

Females (myself, and the two above me) seem to have practicality and aesthetics as a major focus, without mention of the sexy/kinky angle.

Anyone out there going against these trends? Women who feel super-sexy and a bit kinky in boxer shorts and socks, or men who just find it's easier to get girly things in their size than to get men's wear?

I don't know if i'd go as far as to say kinky or super-sexy, but my ex seemed to have a bit of a thing for me in army boots, socks and mens boxer shorts. ( or maybe he was just pissed)

I find there is something quite ' powerful' about aother women in full make-up wearing a very masculine suit that tends to make me a bit weak at the knees too.

It seems unfair to be called crossdressing, I'm rarely cross when I'm dressed unless I dress as a school girl and fall into the whole I am bovverred state of mind

Theres a sensuality to some womens clothes that just makes you feel different, and the taboo aspect certainly helps

Women may do for practical reasons, but for men its more freedom of expression, a fetish, or simply embracing their feminine side, it's very rare to hear of any trannies doing it for practical reasons....

Why is it that the majority of TV-admirers are male? You'd think there would be an equal number of bi/lesbian TV-admirers as well yet I haven't found that to be the case.

On here and on CollarMe doing a search for females searching for transgendereds of any flavour yields very few results.

I'm a full-time TV on course for The Op - am I destined to be a frustrated lesbian, shunned by those I am attracted to?
