After reading all your replies to my threads. I have come to the conclusion that your all narrow minded. I was just airing my opinion (we're all entitled to one). Having seen and gone through what you lot have put, none of you see my side, just your own narrow-minded point of view. I had never been to that kind of event before, therefore it was all new to me. Now put your self in my shoes (don't make a joke lets be adults here) I go along and fill in a form, which mentioned nothing about having to do a skit. This was a bit disconcerting. As nothing was prepared.(this should be mentioned for the next person new to this) I met some nice people some, I knew but mostly a lot I have never met before. One of the people I met was Mistress Switch. I was honoured to meet her, I had heard a lot about her and her mastery with the cane. When I saw that Mistress Switch was doing a demonstration, I was delighted to see an expert in her field come show us ammeters the right way to do it. I was entering and the help Mistress Switch was showing help with my nerves. But nerves got the better of me in the end, as I only did 5 out of the 6 I was meant to do. Now this is where you all get it wrong. I thought that Mistress Switch had been invited to do a demonstration and then entered. Of course I was put out, for to me the teacher was now the contestant. We didn't stand a chance and I was proved right as Mistress Switch won. Not knowing all the information that I do now, at the time it was not apparent to me. I thought it was unfair, not to me but to the others, I had already forfeit coming anywhere because of my mistake. I was discussing this out side while having a fag with other people there and they all had their say and most agreed with me and some didn't comment or care. If they knew that Mistress Switch was just doing the demonstration because it was something Mistress Switch wanted to do as a kindness to the club. No one said. No one said Mistress Switch always enters and sometimes never wins. Now do you understand? I had so much miss information and mixed messages. It was just an opinion egged on by others as ignorant of the truth and information as me. There was no need for all the rudeness and judgemental bull shit. If asking for a tribute and not money offends then so be it. But in my life as Pro Domme I don't like money it's a tribute, its not how I like to play. Why you should slag me off for the way I like to do things.. Hey Ho.

Well, to be honest im sure a lot of people were miffed that the person doing the demo entered and won - unless they knew the full story. As for the tribute thing, im not sure I understand quite what the difference is really? Surely it is still payment for services?

It is, Its just I like to call it a tribute, When they go to hand me the money I say 'No after session. After I say 'Is that a tribute', they say 'yes', I then get them to put it in a box, There it stays till they are gone and I'm no longer dressed as a domme. I then feel that its not a service but a hobbie. I know some can't get their heads round this but I like it this way. I don't like feeling like a whore. I'm not but its a mind set. Thank you for understanding how the whole evening made me feel. and how this has all got out of hand. | |||

Tribute, I've always called it a tribute. I would suggest that generally speaking it does equate to cash in an envelope although some Mistresses will accept tasks such as painting, gardening or cleaning etc in return for a session. So I suppose that a tribute could be a more accurate description from that point of view. R21. | |||

Ah I see. Yes I call mine a tribute too, accepted in an envelope which i dont open till after. I assumed this was the way all/most pro's operated to be honest. Oh, and no none of us want to feel like a whore I am sure! I like to think of it as my hobby, and a service, I like the fact that what I do makes myself and others happy.

A tribute.. A pre ordained monetary tribute. If your client brought you the leeks he had been growing all season as a tribute you would ask him for cash. Would you get a leek in your box? They're pretty narrow so it's a matter of depth rather than girth. Might have to lube up your box.

If we had agreed on the leeks before hand, then yes. Its a quid pro quo. I have had gardeners, plumbers, electricians and just house work done and played. Again, why can't we be adults on here.
