Yet again, its time for Phoenix to rise from the ashes for its usual afternoon of mayhem, fun and frolics. Based at the Bulls Head, Oldham Road, Failsworth. M35 0BR, it kicks off from around noon on Saturday, 5th December, and runs until around 5.00 pm. Being on the main arterial bus route from Manchester to Oldham, and with lots of local free parking, it makes Phoenix an ideal munch for both regular munchers, and newbies alike. Food, in the shape of wonderful Toasties, and chips, soft drinks and not-so-soft drinks are all available from the bar. This is the last Phoenix Munch of the year, so why not come along and start your festivities with us? A meet and greet system is now in place for anyone who feels a little nervous about going to a munch for the first time. I shall be there from noon, when the pub opens it's doors, as will Elondinne. if you want either of us to come and and meet you, and bring you in, please feel free to call us on 07787407645. Strangely, i havent been to this munch yet.... But i have been to the oldham munch and the spankabull held in the bulls head. I will do my best to get to this, as i havent yet seen people playing with knives yet.... will be an interesting experience for me. Do you just in straight through to the back room or do you ask at the bar or try and find Ex or Sez? | ||

Normally congregate in the bar area first and then move to the back room I am sure you will find one of us hanging around lol. It is a 'vanilla' dress code so we don't scare the locals lol, but come along and if you don't see us I am sure Sez will look after you till we turn up

As I told the people who were at the munch... I kind of got the wrong end of the stick when Ex mentioned people and Knives, I thought of Knive play.... I was totally wrong... they were selling them not playing with them... Anyway, I had a great time. I must thank Ex, Lucy and Elondinne for a great munch. And I must also thank Sez for the food. |
