I also loved Club Hades. I felt a sense of belonging, had some wicked times and saw some amazing sights. Anybody can be fabulous. You got a hump on your back? Put some glitter on it and have a party. | |

I think that, apart from great kit, a good venue, brilliant hosts, good publicity, much attention to detail, putting on great entertainment, one of the main things they got right was the music. Really varied, not too loud, less loud areas, quiet areas, bonza! It's the one thing sooooo many clubs make ABC mistakes with. The antidote to whinge threads?? Edited 29 Nov 09, 7:23 PM by Jahc99 | |

Hades (however many years ago now) was the first play club I'd ever gone to. Must have been around the same time as I started going to munches, so possibly around six years ago
I was so shy... The people who ran it then and the subsequent bands of brothers (and sisters) who do so well at Crimson will always have my loyalties. Raises a glass to their continued succes!! A rose by any other name has thorns that will still make you bleed. | |

I remember being new and walking into Hades first time, so nervously, being thoroughly intimidated that now I was going to play in one of London's Fetish "Super Clubs". I remember the Domination Room at the back; and loved its quiet ambience and the over-large couches, so perfect for all the Dominants. I remember that all subs were required to crawl in there on hands and knees, and doing so, loving it. I remember being curled up at the feet of Mistress Eve and Master G in that room late one night and finally, at around 3am, they sent me off for a drink. I crawled off a foot or so and both of them yelled at the same time, "Merryn, for heaven's sake, you can get up now!" I still laugh at myself for not sensing how the etiquette had relaxed somewhat towards the end of the night ... I loved the view over the Thames in the front bar; I loved the mix of music in different rooms; I loved the sadistic and sexy equipment; I loved the rope riggers. I loved the fact that it was the one club I've ever in my life been able to walk into completely on my own - alone, and feel brave enough to do it, because I knew I had so many friends there to meet me. Every Hades had a feel-good quality about it - still can't pin down exactly why.

I loved Hades, it was not my first scene club but it was the first club where I started playing publicly, and I had some great times there, But I have had great times at clubs since then, at Sweet Torments, Decadence, Subversion, Crimson and Surrender. Each of them is different and great in different ways, and each now holds specific memories for me. | |

Ah the good old days when some things were new to me and I met some lovely friends. But the clubs gone now so its on to pastures new for all of us.

I loved hades and will remember for eternity the dance with Forsaken1 in his tutu, i offered to hold his balls while he danced on tippytoes and jumped. You cannot shake hands with a clenched fist.
