I've got a slight problem with taking a dump....
So I took a dump from the master, and a dump from the two slaves and was gutted really. The size of all three dumps should have been the same. But the master's dump was much bigger! Nearly twice the size!
The slaves are supposed to pick up the master's dump exactly as is... but some of the dump is going missing in transit. I can't find the missing dump anywhere. I've got tools searching through the dump now, to see what is going wrong but to no avail...
Well, besides missing dump pieces which is a big issue, there seems to be an integrity issue too. That's right - some of the pieces of dump taken from the two slaves were different. How could that be? Both slaves were fed exactly the same dump!! If they were fed the same dump, shouldn't their own dump be the same??? Hmmm?? How and why are the slaves dumps getting mis-matched. I suspect one of the slaves lacks integrity. (One slave is, admittedly, much slower than the other).
What do do?

hardware upgrade sounds positive. Just have to make sure there's enough space for all that dumpage yeah... thanks for the tip.
