Some of you may have noticed that, silly sod that I am, I have volunteered to co-ordinate a 'Safety' group, though I prefer 'Risk Minimisation'.
The suggestion came from here: http://www.informedconsent.co.uk/posts/255812/
and it is, ironically, a rather scary prospect. 
So, I've set up a group profile, http://www.informedconsent.co.uk/p/Minimum_Risk/ and am mailing people who I know have demostrated that they know their stuff over many years, in various areas, mostly people I've seen do demos, sessions, that have taught me a lot, to see if they are up for contributing something.
The formula we came up with for the pro group seems well suited - a thread to give as much of an answer to an issue as we can, with plenty of disclaimers, links to other useful sites, and then a seperate one for discussion. Seems to work well.
Most things, like rope, suspension, needles, knife play, single tails, electrics, I have had no trouble thinking of people to ask to write the lead article.
There's a couple of things that I think Your Ladyships could really help with, though, so, no harm in asking....
The first, is safe (as possible) CP. Where to hit, where not to hit, hygene and how to cope with blood and all that. No-one else uses their whacking weapons on more people than the pro dommes. Issues with different weapons, different people, what to do when something does go a bit wrong, that kind of thing. You are the experts.
The other would be anal play. The fine and noble art of sticking things up people's bottoms. Buggered if I could write that!
What do you think, it's a big ask, I know, but would any of you be able to help out there? Or is there someone you would nominate for me to ask? Reply by memo, if you prefer.
