I feel like throwing my toys out of the pram, it didn't sink in during the utter disaster that yesterday was, but my GP did say that I'll need to wait another month to see if my collar bone heals properly, before she will refer me to the orthopaedic specialists.
That is another month out of the buggy, damnit!!!
My kites will turn to dust before I fly again at this rate.

Took many months before my clavical knitted properly - broke it again when I thought it had fixed. Fucking hurt, that did! And not in the good way. Patience, it's very boring, but that is what you need. Do your physio, but don't over do it either. Was talking with a domme friend the other day, who has ended up with frozen shoulder, like that, and you do want to avoid that. Good luck mate. |

It's the point where the clavicle meets the sternum, something there seems to be allowing the clavicle to ride over the sternum which is damned painful when I roll onto that side in bed. It's been close to ten weeks now and literally a pain in the neck. "We're all living in a freakshow Man, it's called life. Buy a ticket and enjoy the ride." Foamy The Squirrel |

Well if the bone is broken, it will? I did both of mine at the distal end, which means me shoulders are not the same, lost a lot of strength, and now there's lumps which hurt like hell when the rope goes over them. Grrr! |

I've a friend who did that that when he came off his motorbike, he lost a lot of shoulder strength too. Took a good 6 months before he was back riding again.
and the lump/bump on his collar bone makes him look an extra from a sci-fi film. I know 10 weeks seems a longtime when you cant do something that you really want too, but best let it mend properly, I know its windy in winter but spring has its fair share of blustery weather. On a side note:- an article I found whilst researching some new Diabetic Medication "Avandia" http://diabetes.webmd.com/news/20080428/more-bro... Think of the fierce energy concentrated in an acorn! It must be frustrating, but if you push it too fast too soon, could you cause a longer term problem? Hopefully a month from now you can still enjoy some blustery weather, but without it setting your injury backwards. |
