Oh dear gawd - I hate to tell those with the judgy judgy thing going on - but certain substances create sensations you can't get naturally. Aaaaand it's not a bad thing.

All the people I know who use poppers are straight. Have never suffered any side effects and had a whale of a time with them.

I don't use poppers myself, but then I've got a heart thing and it might be a tad risky. Besides I'm not a fan of the cat-piss odour thing.

ive had a sniff or two for a laugh onece or twice, but only at nightclubs. personally i did'nt think much of it because the effects only lasted a couple of minutes and gave me a really bad headache.

I've never used them whilst doing anal and I can't see the point trying, all it seems to do is give a head rush and desensitise, wheres the point?

For me sex as most other sensations is an acquired taste and gets more enjoyable with experience. I would be cheating myself if I used a drug in attempt to make it more enjoyable by enhancing or dulling the experience, and cheating ones self in the end can only dull all other experiences.

Well, having read some crsap here, vitriolic, and some useful advice, all I can say is each to their own.

I agree mostly with Lady Anna Bradford's comments on this matter and as I said in an earlier post, both of us have contribute what I consider some useful comments on this matter on other posts, so to repat them would be pointless.

I would say that I have used poppers with Viagra with no ill effect for a number of years, but that's just me. That's not to say that that mixture would not cause someone else harm. Each person is individual. It's also the first time I've used "thats" in a sentence.

I have found a source of real poppers via a contact on here and they are a damned sight better than the chemicals the government have "forced" poppers users to take because real amyl nitrite was deemd to be "bad for you". That was probably only introduced after a Rt Hon tory member was found dead after taking far too much, amongst other things!

Why all the vitriol....Lady Anna's "Popper Briefing Note" is a very well balanced, and helpful article. The fact you can find papers/web sites which support anopther view is hardly a surprise. Well done Lady Anna, I think that is one of teh most balanced educational posts I have read. Oh, and I have used them infrequently for ages.... they do give a high/hit which is nice - though I agree it would be remiss to make it a precondition of anal, and they do also provide a nice wank aid.
