Just to add to the confusion ... the Japanese don't distinguish between jute and hemp ... they are both made from plant products and literally translate to the same meaning.

I mean I won't be en-femme but I won't be made to strip to my underwear if I attend in the wrong clothes, will I?

Hemp and Jute are very popular.

You can start them out on cotton but as they grow and start wanting to fly they cant stay on that.
