I took another skim through the adverts, but thought I would try a different tack.
They don't give you a lot of information on the list without clicking on the advert or profile, but it does give location. Other than that, it's down to the one-liner.
So, I tried skimming for locations within reasonable travel distance to me. In no time at all, I had found three adverts that had possibilities.
But then I wonder, is this someone I already know through my local munch? Are a few words enough to tell me who this person is, and if it's worth getting their hopes up or finding myself pestereed by someone I don't connect with after all?
Been there before.
I finally decided oh stuff it, and made the advert live. Let's see how long that lasts. I'm sticking with what I wrote a couple of blogs ago though, if I get messages from people who have ignored or not bothered to read my profile, I'm not investing time in replies.
Good manners will prevail for genuine messages of course. But I've stated my preferences and what I'm looking for. Someone would have to respect those statements to be capable of respecting me.
And that of course, is the most basic requirement.
