I have a question for subs, do you ever see professional dominants? For those who do, what are your reasons and what have your experiences been? For those who do not, what are your thoughts on the matter? A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step - Confucius

Me personally no, & I don't think I ever will.
I see it as a two way relationship, & for me to give my servitude & money for a "fake" experience ruins the entire subject. I can understand why people might, But it more a relationship, not a service.

No - Financial transactions only complicate matters and I like to keep things simple but I have to admit when I have read some of the blogs from PD's I can not say I haven't been tempted but I do not think I could succomb. M Space travels in my blood. And there ain't nothing I can do about it.

I'd say I'm in agreement with you guys. Personally I think I'd see it as a personal failure and an admission of defeat. Of course one thing I've learned is to never say never but I just can see myself going to a professional. Play partners, yes especially if a close friendship has formed. Professionals, no (No disrespect intended towards the pro dommes/doms/subs on this site). A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step - Confucius

I have been involved with three professional dominatrices with varying degrees of success. One offered to pay me for my services, services that I would have been quite happy to provide for nothing except for the those rewards that you would expect from a Dominatrix. Financial rewards were not something I was not looking for, I would have gone to the job centre of that was the objective. From then on the relationship went slowly downhill. So yes, once you bring money into the equation both parties have to appreciate that you are into a whole different ball game. Susan Williams

I'm looking more for intimacy than experience in my kinky happening. I still want experience but I wouldn't get that intimacy from a Professional, especially as I can't afford to see one regularly. Plus I'm not one for doing things for myself and seeing a professional would be more like I'd be doing it for me and that just doesn't work for me. Still, there have been some posts recently that have peaked my interest in some activities, so I'm not ruling it out yet.

Yeah I feel the same, wouldn't pay a pro, just would feel like she is acting the part just for cash

A very interesting article and perspective. We are all different, and all have different motivations, needs and wants. Generalisations are a waste of time, just do what feels right for you.

All the time! There does not seem to be any other to me, and I have been into BDSM for 25+ yrs seeing Pro Dommes. Even when you generally approach lifestyle Domme's on this site they generally want clothes or something. However it is the life I love, so I keep paying the ladies but if it was free or on a very mimimal amount I would see them more, and more. The problem I have is I only earn £25,000 year, so I have to budget my visits. My hope is one day I will find a REAL lifestyle Mistress who I can serve 24/7
