I am have just started (re)treating a bunch of un-played-with rope (100 m which was 200 m) all was going well until I opened the door (around 1 pm today) to be greeted buy a pool of sludge!!!
My rope has disintegrated, which annoys me no end but even worse I have spent the last 6 hours cleaning the sludge out of various pipes of the machine, including the motor and the drain.
There is now dead wet rope all over the floor and a strange smell of hemp and washing powder.
At the end of play tonight its washing machine 20 SeaofDreams 1 (because it works again) but I am down 100 m of hemp and 7 hours of my life.
Off to the pub to cry.
