Hi folks, I have a picture I would like to upload but IC won't accept it because it's dimension are 2592 by 1944 as opposed to maximum allowed by IC of 2048 by 2048 pixels. How do I sort this out, please keep it simple as I'm illiterate when it come to technical stuff with computers lol. Thanks in advance, Chris | ||

What is your computer? If it is a Windows XP machine then Microsoft do a neat powertoy called image resizer. You can get it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/pow.... Instructions here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digital.... For Windows Vista, you will need a different tool. http://blogs.msdn.com/cumgranosalis/archive/2007.... In both cases, after installing, when you right click on the image you will get an option to resize the image. AB If i had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Open the picture in Paint. Go to Image, Stretch/Skew and then play around with the percentage in the Stretch section. Keep both amounts the same and start with something like 90 in each. If it's still too big then you can do 90 again until you get it down to the size you want. Just remember to save as so that you keep the original as it is. Or better yet, copy the original and then play with the copy. | ||

You really should go to quote and reply and then copy the text rather than just copy it off the post. You'll find you post the entire link if you do that way rather than just part of it that doesn't actually work. | ||
