As ollie says it has to be somewhere of a fairly decent size and preferably private (with the knowledge of the owner(s) of course . It would also be better if it were somewhere fairly secluded.

We'll probably be looking at April/May time but at the minute the important thing is really to find somewhere to hold it.

Have you thought of holiday type log cabin/chalets in the north of Scotland; I'm fairly sure there'll be ones that are well secluded and on their own space of land (there are a number of them on old farm plots). April would still be considered off-season. Plus it means the frivolity can be continued into the evening and overnight

If there is a load of folk then it would be fairly cheap - the trick is to find one with, eh, an understanding owner.
