Whilst it would be utterly self indulgent of me to wish myself a happy birthday on my own birthday; birthdays are nevertheless a time for light reflection. The past year has been full, and I have been reminded so many times of how many great friends i have in my life. Not least here on IC. i had a rather embarrassing incident when meeting a 'Ms Lucinda' which i wrote about; many of your were very chariatble in you supporting comments for my foolishness; including Admin. Many, many people also wrote to me. i had no idea that either i had reached any level of awareness here on IC, and i had no idea that IC functions so well as an effective little community. To reciprocate, on my birthday, i just wanted to say thank you to all. Roll-on another year. xx | |

A very happy birthday slave and not at all self indulgent to put up your own post. I think it has certainly been a year of change for many of us. Along the way we have made fantastic new friends, opended our hearts in love and trust and entered new relationships and been open to new concepts. Some of these have worked and others not, and yet we can remain true to ourselves and our higher morals and beliefs and know inside we are good people.
