It was about an anti-BDSM MP who has supported anti-BDSM legislation on radio interviews. He did not just vote for/support it he was a spokesperson for it. I accept that in itself that is not an excuse to post on any topic such a person happens to mention. However this was about how he made a fool of himself on news night and would be of great interest to anti BDSM activists.

It's normal New Labour stuff Campbell-esque media manipulation. As unpleasant as it seems it is being fed to the media today to distract the media away from Browns appalingly incompetent despatch box performance today, his confused dealings with the Postal Unions and the Banks; and to dilute any big headlines the the governor of the bank of england may get in tomorrows papers having made some common sense and in getting his comments in before an economy performance results come out to suggest that Darling was wrong to predict as bold growth in Q4 of this year...its media manipulation with a bit of magic porn sparkle dust and as ever New Labour are words without substance. Brun has a fight royal on his hands with the Unins which he cannot control. Their PR machine is very sharp; the satrapline: "Minister without Responsibility" strapline is hitting its target and they are driving the media. The very militant and agressive Bob Crow and his RMT union is now untouchable and more red that Robbo and Ken; they have learnt there lesson under Arthur Scargill and have quietly blackmailed the small independent train companies into paying its memembers massive salaries with the threat of all out strikes which they could not afford. The CWU has a growing militant wing among their executive who want to employ the same techniques as Mr Crow and win a some great salaries for their memebers..and get every last penny out of this Labour gvernment before it goes down......so, they have big blundering Mr Brown by the short and curlies because the CWU are also a major Labour party donor...so we have a four way battle between the Leadership of the CWU, Mandelson, Brown and the Directors of Royal Mail. Brown is weak and cant ecide and wants and easy life so is happy to give te unins what thye want, Mandelson feels embittered because he was thwarted in his attempts to part privatise Royal Mail and the directors or th company are fighting fro their reputations, afterall when was new labour ever loyal to any civil servant, see Martin Sixsmith onwards? Brown, Blair, Mandelson and Campbell hectored a man to the point where he felt he had no alternative but to take his own life; yes folks, i am talking Dr Kelly. Perhaps you new labour apologists can justify Dr Kellys death? But then again they treat their own supporters the same way: Who remembrs this from 2005: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/columnists/art... Remember folks; you all voted for new Labour.....things could only get better! Mr Brown will come out of it shining as will Mandelson, the unions will have screwed us tax payers over a barrel because Brown can't afford a major industrial dispute so near an election for fear of not only being branded a tax and spend government but also historically will leave a legacy of poor labour relations for the next administration. But you all voted for the bully boy stalinist Gordon Brown and his yob henchmen who seem to make the BNP look tame at times. So...watch this space; there will be a lot more distracting rubbish being thrown around in the media to create a screen.....i heard today about the government propsing fining direct call marketing companies £2million if they break the rules and some low life MP was on the radio encouraging home alone housewives to phone in their suggestions in some sort of BIG conversation! New Labour have no idea what they are doing; they are weak and directionless. Conversely the unions know exactly what they want.... Edited 23 Oct 09, 11:24 PM by JJBoy | ||||
