Is there a list anywhere of BDSM/fetish events or venues which have good access.. If not, maybe people can mention venues here they go to and places which are welcoming for disabled people?
Please also include events without perfect access but who do their best to accommodate where possible (but might be worth explaining what that means is possible). Replies from disabled people and event organisrs or others who have noticed things about access all welcome in this thread please.
Thanks in advance,
De

SWAMP unfortunately is a lot less than ideal due to having lots of stairs. A wheelchair user did come to the last SWAMP and was carried up and down the stairs; i do hope she had a good time and i regret being too busy to have time to talk to her. We at SWAMP will always do our utmost to enable people to attend, but the sad fact is that our venue is a lot less than disabled-friendly. The South-Dorset munch is here

Club SeOne where some fetish events are still held is disabled friendly - all on one (ground) floor and with a large disabled toilet ^Thunder^

BBB has lifts to all floors. At the moment the lifts are out of order which is a shame. Also Ceasars night club is easy-ish access. There are steps to get in but they have done their best to put ramps in most places. The toilets are up another two steps but once up the steps the cubicles are quite wide. Though I did get a parking ticket for parking outside even though I had my blue badge up! LOL.

Subversion at the Hub Club has very good wheelchair access - lifts to all floors and a Radar Keyed Disabled Toilet. The F club has good access via the goods lift - toilets are not adapted but are doable if your chair isn't too wide. As stated above Se-one which is used by Torture Garden is good too.

I can only speak from personal experience and since I'm still "finding My feet" in D/s I don't what is and is'nt accessible in terms of clubs, fetish fairs etc. Anyway, I go to the BBB as often as I can and have never had trouble getting in or around the place (I use a wheelchair), everything's on the flat, there's a lift to get from one floor to the next, and all the people are friendly and very helpful.

Rebound in Glasgow has 2 staeps at the front door and then a lift, and a good disabled toilet wide enough for all chairs. There are disabled members, both wheelchair users and double crutch users. The whole club is on one floor, with enough seating Ask and you shall receive. Then don't complain to me --- you asked

Sadly the London Munch does not have good disabled access, being down a flight of stairs. There are always plenty of people around to help though. SOS The Titter group - for when you don't feel too serious.

Club Punishment has a good ground floor space. I'm not sure about wheelchair access as it's a small venue, but I think the doorway is wide enough, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is an upstairs bit, but I didn't venture up there. The downstairs playspace and bar are easy to get around. Parking is ok, on the narrow road outside.
