I enjoyed it as well ....bar the "splat" off the church , i watched "The boat that rocked" over the weekend and am thinking of asking the film company for two hours of my life back ! I have kleptomania ; when it gets bad i take something for it .

I've not seen it, but I've learned that when it comes to British comedy, it's great when it has a half hour slot on TV. However when it comes to film length, then they have a lot of trouble trying to cram 30 minutes of comedy into 90 minutes of film.

I loved this film and have to agree the "splat" wasnt quite the bit i rushed to watch again. The last king of Scotland is one of the other films i have watched recently with a scene i choose not to watch again, but well worth a watch if you have never seen it.

Blimey, is it Tuesday already? I watched it recently. You forgot to mention that u need a hankey too, cos it's a bit sad in parts too. Bev x "They must find it difficult...Those who have taken authority as the truth, rather than the truth as the authority." G.Massey, Egyptologist.

Not many films entertain me but I really enjoyed this one from beginning to the end. Bravo She's so pure, Moses could'nt even part her knees.....Joan Rivers on Marie Osmond.

Really enjoyable film. Lines like "one gay beer please" and "is he having a poo or a wee?" really made me giggle. Ralph Fiennes playing a gangster - and it really worked. Who'd have thought? See it! I believe in the certainty of chance.

Well if you want some more bleak humour (No,I don't mean a peep at my banks statement!) I can recommend a film called 'Jakob The Liar' It's the only comedy I've ever come across that's set in the Warsaw Ghetto. Of course you'll need a hankey for this one too, very sad in parts.
