For those that didnt know- TFH managed to get herself pregnant 8 months ago. At the age of 16 "less than great" doesnt even begin to describe the situation......
However, i have watched my horrific daughter transform over 7 months. She has become responsible, thoughtful, patient, mature and downright *nice* (triple faint)
She passed all her GCSES, got a flat with boyfriend, and has started A levels at the "young mums unit" at the local college.
And then on 5th October she went into premature labour and finally gave birth to a little boy at 10.53 am on 6th October. He is almost one month early, very tired, and having a bit of help feeding, but just so DAMN GORGEOUS!
I am officially in LOVE!!
Mum and baby doing very well
Grandma "frazzled"
And K (aka Grumps) spent so long cuddling him tonight that baby went bright red with the heat and had to be cooled down lol.
They are coming to stay with us a few weeks, so if there are any eager friends who would like to visit, just give me a ring!

What a great, wonderful daughter you have, shes obviously still getting on with life and she has brought into the world a new person. Having a baby is not 'ideal' at 16 and yet; we are at our most fertile point (strange eh!)so, it is certainly natural. Sending positive thoughts and warm wishes your way | |
