This morning I feel tired, but in a good way. A bit like the countryside must feel after days and days of hot sticky weather and then there's a heavy violent thunder storm. After the storm everything is much clearer, cleaner and things can grow properly again.
I was looking pretty ugly yesterday morning. No details required, but it had been a bad night.
And then the clouds started to clear, and I could feel the warmth of the sun on my back again and when I opened my eyes, I could see that things things were ok, there wasn't too much devastation, and that perhaps it was a good position to rebuild from.
We went to see a house. And it's perfect for us. For a new beginning. I know I've only known raven for a very short time; but it feels right to do this now. I've never wanted to live with a lover before. But I do want this. So I shall have it!
I know this is real life, so I won't end this with the fairy tale ending of 'And they lived happily ever after'. But I really think we will.
