The best results I've had on eBay is when I've started the bidding at 99p. This gets the item more attention and people will start competing for it which also drives the price up nicely. "Quit? Once I was thinking about quitting when I was diagnosed with brain, lung and testicular cancer, all at the same time. But with the love and support of my friends and family, I got back on the bike and I won the Tour de France five times in a row. But I'm sure you have a good reason to quit" L.Armstrong

that can backfire quite badly though - happened to me... put some items up that were worth a lot more than the 99p starting price, and in the end it went for little money :/ ------ I'd rather be poor and creative than rich and boring (Patrick Wolf)
