Music for my week (6)

Tommorow i start Uni, post-grad course, 3yrs, nothing too great about that i suppose, but considering i dont have any previous qualifications, one may wonder...how did i get on formentioned course ?

Still bemused by that one myself, it seems that i have enough life experence to count for a degree in the eyes of the Professor's who interviewed me, they run the course, they accepted me...

So bought various needs from the stationers today, folder, paper etc... Apprehensive would describe my feeling, mixed with excitment, based in a calmness. Yes... i pinpoint feelings and name them, always a mixture, always varied.

Music has helped my focus, being mood altering as it is, always does. Couple of tunes that im well into again over the past week : --------------------

This Party Fears Two : The Associates

Remebering Billy Mackenzie's amazing vocal talents, the gift he left behind for us...he will never be forgotten. --------------------

Kites : Simon Dupree & The Big Sound

Something bout this one that sends shivers down my spine, cheers me up, love the dodgy footage, and his play-acting into the camera... but its one of those timeless tunes. --------------------

The Green Manalishi : Fleetwood Mac

Peter Green at his finest i think, haunting, deep, sinister, really bang on it !

So yeah, tunes, and a new start for me... Its not going to be easy, but if i want to make a difference i have to stand up and be counted, get the qualification that will enable me to be in the frontline of my desired profession, and help others to help themselves.

Well you deserve it.

You've worked hard over the last decade sorting yourself out, its about time you got some recognition for it.

Good luck with it all, you will do fantastic.

I can't believe I've no control
