Yep... I'm back at college
Enjoyed my course so much last year that I've signed up for a more technical plant/botany course as I felt I needed much more in-depth knowledge about plants & horticulture.
The syllabus is seriously scary! Lots of plant taxonomy, soil structures, pests & diseases and the like and I'm already dreading the (2) exams! Still, you only have to get 50% for a pass, so not too bad (she says optimistically!)
I have a friend from my last course who's also doing this one, which is nice. On our first day we sat at the back like naughty girls
And as my old pencil case was falling apart, I've treated myself to a new bright pink one

Thanks iana yes I know what you mean, I love learning now because I'm doing it for me and because I want to, not because I have to.
I hope my pencil case will give me good service... it has a loop thingy that I could easily attach a 'gonk' to, remember gonks?

I hope you'll be paying attention not whispering at the back
Seriously, I know how proud you were of doing so well on your last course - deservedly so - and I hope this one goes just as well. "The unexamined life is not worth living" - Socrates

Thanks hunni, I'm mostly worried about remembering all the technical terms; not sure my old brain is up to it!!
