I am of course referring to Manchester United destroying Manchester City today. City, to their credit, took nearly every chance they got, and though they had to rely on assists from United players for two of their goals, but they were absolutely crushed in terms of skill, effort and teamwork.
Highlights of the game for me:
The immense amount of injury time. Well I say immense, I would say it was exactly the right amount. Cheers ref.
Craig Bellamy managing to prove himself to be a deadly striker while at the same time basically ending his season. Punching a fan is never smart. Self inflicted punishment for his earlier aeroplane theme goal celebration. See you when your bans over, cunt. 
Tevez being shit. Fucking Judas. Shame he didn't see more of the ball so Vidic could have snapped him in half.
Michael Owen scores the winner at the Stretford End for United in the Manchester Derby after signing on a free transfer. What odds would you have been able to get for that in 1998 when he scored -that- goal in the world cup?
What a great game. Just winning would have been great, but this was a crushing victory. Will it be the gut punch to send City slithering down the table in disarray? I think it's very likely. They've never been a club noted for good character, and even a proper team would struggle to bounce back from that defeat.

Nah, no question about the time added on. There was minimum of four minutes on the board, then there was another goal and a substitution, so that's a minimum of five minutes, and that's only if you're giving thirty seconds for the goal. People forget that the time added on that is displayed is before the 90th minute, so stuff that happens right after the board goes up is not added. Secondly it's an indication of the minimum time, not the maximum. Four minutes on the board, plus then a goal and a substitution, then on top of that you've got whatever few seconds the ref wants to add for anything else. There was nothing even close to fishy about the injury time. All that is required for the triumph of evil is for Chuck Norris to change sides. | |||

I'm doing missionary work in the south. Spreading the good word, King Eric's message of righteousness. ) Meanwhile I doubt Chelsea will win much. Not a very big squad, but a rather old one. Same deal as Villa last season I reckon, good start then feel the injuries and the fatigue and keel over. Also one of these days Drogba is going to throw himself to the ground so hard he does himself a mischief. Not to mention I think at least two or three of Chelsea's key players will be vanishing for the Mickey Mouse African Cup or whatever it's called.
