as the Disorginiser for the Ipswich munch, i would like to say a very big , huge ginormnce thank you to eveyone who came to our wee event last tuesday, tons of new faces, and as you all may have relised by now, i'm errible with names and spelling, (sniggers,,,, but i do like writing lables,, tee hee)
i had such a good time i've only just recoved emough to make sorta cohearent sence, ( hoy you at the back no rude comments!! )
I would also like to make say that the cooking expertise of Tanyacheeks and the Masters Wench, were very much appericeated, and also their help with straightening the room at the end of the evening when i was compleatly pooped.
In my normal flustered manor I though I had arrived at the pub in good time , but lo there were loads of people there befor me. Andy and Tanya and the colcheser crew, had even been there long enough to set up all the food, ( yum yum yum )
was lovely to see Hotlips ( looking radient) and Drifting dreamer, as you had such a long way, was a huge suprise,
For those that there in the Dark, Himself had had a birthday the previous friday, and had been determined that it would pass with as little comment as possible... and having taken my bank card ( for budget controls,) what was a girl to do, ... have a word on the QT with some dear pals, and get every one to sing happy birthday to him as he arrived, . He even cracked the odd smile that night, and i have several accounts that he also made a joke in public!!!....
Sub in Space was a dab hand at the lable writting, ( with a few helpful hints from me..grins),
LJ in his role as co orginiser has reported that there were no complaints,, tee heee,,,,
if any one who was there is wondering who I am, i was most often seen running around with a cup of coffee asking all and sundery if they had seen Himself, as having requested a cuppa, he would then disappear from whence i'd last seen him. Drifting Dreamers helfull idea of calling his mobile was given a padington bear stare as if i recal both hands were full at the time.
Have to say that Penwiggle was looking very glamourius with a hot pink combination. (grins, am saying now cause i think that i didn't get a change to then)
Lovey to meet *party animal Anne* from the infamous Anne and Rolys Play Parties,,,, one day we hope to be able to attend, just have to find a willing mug ( ahem) kind friend to look after the hellhounds, and for my car to be running,, ( sob, sob,, dat, as they say is another webblog)
also was lovely to see the Whipkicks,hope that you both had a lovey evening, and by the end of the evening the munch had abandoned the room and migrated into the garden, ( oooh yessss we will take over the pub,,, one day,, wahhahaaa)
muffin man and tease, glad that you made it after finishing work so late, hope that we will see you next time,
rod and boykitten, always lovery to have cuddles with you,, ( liked the head boy badge)
Maxie and Gee2 - wow,, or should that be owwwwwwwwwww, the special birthday gift, look nasty!!!,,,,, esp the one that involved a allan key,, eye watering, Very sorry to know that you guys are leaving us and departing for pastures greener. So lets hope that Novembers Munch create some special memeorie for your to take with you.
and to all you other far traveler and partly revelers, please dont feel slighter if i've not mensitioned you by name.case i was almost doing an impresion of the walking dead by the end of the night,
hope to you all next time, the more the merryer, and here's to friends, old and new, and those that have yet to make themselves knowen,

you were very welcome and im glad you liked the cake and bits that we did, we had a brilliant time and enjoy the time we share with you, and if anyone gives you trouble give then a paddington bear hard stare with extra marmalade sandwich lol..... and if i can help in any other way, i will, and if you need food again, and andy is still at work ill try to accomadate and do something for you if thats ok ?
