Wrought iron isn't anywhere near as strong as steel.

This site does all sorts of goodies and has an excelent rep. so you should find exactly what you need plus a few things you hadn't thought of.

Nothing perverted about it .... just so i can attach things to my bed rather than losing them all the time .... knickers that always go missing, toys that seem to slip out of my hands, etc

I understand about the need to colour coordinate, i'm just jealous that my partner is so good at that sort of thing. I'd suggest paint or black tape, then you can have the best of both worlds.

Yeah, I was thinking black metalic paint ... easy peasy!
