i don't know but i'm pretty certain if you researched old etiquette you'd find a guide. i'd guess: long gloves for evening occassions short cotton gloves in summer kid gloves in town when the weather is colder woolen gloves in the country heavier leather gloves for travelling ?

Gloves are an absolute must and they work all the better with beautifully manicured hands and nails underneath. Believe me it takes some doing keeping painted nails in order if the day job involves actually picking anything up more than once a day! The devil is always in the detail....

Not so sure about wearing them constantly. What I do like however is seeing Mistress put them on. Just that act alone is extremely provocative.
