As many of you are aware, over the iast two years we have made several collections for the Wood Street Mission.

They are a non government backed local charity, that help supply clothing, food and the bare necessities to local children and their familes, in an effort to make their lives that little bit better.

Last Christmas we managed to raise £345 on their behalf, and at Easter we gave them over a hundred easter eggs.

Though I would still like you to donate money, that is not what the aim of this collection is about.

If you have good quality childrens clothing from age six month to thirteen years that your children no longer wear. if you have decent quality toys your children no longer play with, then these are the thing that the Mission is short of at this time.

If you get them to me, either at The Retro, The Bulls Head, or collect at a munch where I can come along and collect them, then I can assure you that you will be making someone's Christmas this year better than they expect.

The other thing the Mission does is hand out Christmas hampers to the same families. these are made up, mostly, of tinned food, tea, coffee, etc etc.

If you can donate something tinned, as long as the date on the can is after Dec 31st, then this would also help benefit others.

The Wood Street Mission is funded purely by local donation. it has no Government funding, and no Lottery funding.

Please. try to help. All of your donations will be very much appreciated, and will help make Christmas special for those less forttunate.

Thank you

Ex

Both myself and The Kage will do all we can. It was a charity close to Miss_Violets heart so therefore I'll give 100% to try and secure the items you have requested.
