Some weeks ago I wrote a blog about a deeply traumatic period in my life .....yes the local curry house shut down!!!
I got a few replies saying go to another curry house or get a takeaway etc. I suppose I should have put some context in the fact I go there with the boys.... I send an e-mail out giving dates to all the lads and then we all meet up in the pub just down the road, sometimes there are only 4 of us but can be 10 or 12 and the curry house could accomodate us....no need for booking, when the kitty money run out we went.
An alternative venue was sought and tried out last night...... pub not the same atmosphere and whilst curry house food was good the element of spontaneity has gone. And I have terrible wind this morning..... yes I know I will get comments like what do you expect etc. but I never did with the last curry house
