Yeah, yeah, we've been here before rumour-wise and thread-wise but The Sun's latest candidate for Selina Kyle/Catwoman in director Christopher Nolan's rumoured (always rumoured) third Batman outing is Megan Fox. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/biz... Loads of 'thought to have signed a deal', and many an 'inside Hollywood source said' and excruciating puns: 'And I have a strong feline she is the purrfect choice for the part...' Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut it does give us time to reflect on the many previous Catwomen (is that the plural?) such as Eartha Kitt, the sublime Michelle Pfeiffer and the frankly ridiculous Halle Berry. And it does make a change from 'pathetic subs sending Dommes one-liner' threads. Although these guys are just plain cynics: http://www.cinematical.com/2009/08/26/poll-which... Anyway, who was your favourite? The poon won't come flocking if you sit and do nothing. Edited Thu 27 Aug 09, 7:52 PM by night_porter

This is not very BDSMesque... so let me change that. I imagine that smacking Michelle Phieffer's rubber clad arse would make a very lovely sound... and then having her scare the crap out of me, and make beautiful bloody cuts all over my body with those razor sharp claws.... would be very lovely indeed. SO she is my favourite. and I hate kids, especially babysitting other people's so I dont care if this makes me 'unnatural'.

Michelle Pfeiffer Purr Purr (incidentally she is 51 too).
A kiss is just a kiss, but a whiplash lasts until morning.

Julie Newmar was the best Selina Kyle as far as I'm concerned. She had fantastic style. I used to use a photo of her as my profile pic and every so often I'd get memos addressed to "Julie" which was hysterical. I really do hope that they bring back the character since she's one of my favourites, whoever plays her. That said, the Halle Berry movie is an abomination and best forgotten in my view! Johnny Depp as the Riddler would be interesting ... don't rate Megan Fox, she may look good but can't act to save her life (and isn't the Sun's mock up of her as Halle Berry's Catwoman just plain amateur?) ... Michelle Pfeiffer was surprisingly good.
Neither Sub, nor Dom, just a Fetishist having fun.

I think it's extremely likely that Julie Newmar is responsible for my subbiness.

Hmm, let's see, a bullwhip-cracking pvc-catsuit-clad badass villain out to tear men to shreds isn't BDSMesque? Come on, bdsm-wise, throw in a fat guy with a beard and you've got Christmas.

For me it was Julie Newmar (series, not film) and as she was a dancer originally she is also the most graceful of actors and at almost 6ft she was perfect for the role. I agree Halle Berry is very attractive but the film was terrible. Best M Space travels in my blood. And there ain't nothing I can do about it.

My fave was Halle Berry, not due to her acting you understand but due to those lovely leather trousers with the open slit things going on on the back.
I want me a pair of those ! choozy. x One day my ship will come in, and knowing my luck, I'll be at the airport !!

You really preferred this: http://www.grouchoreviews.com/content/films/1997... to this? http://www.geocities.com/~talotta/Batman/returns... Must agree to differ there. I always thought Halle Berry's catwoman outfit looked like it had been designed by a committee. Obviously a very specialised committee but a committee none the less.

Michelle Pfieffer gets my vote. Her delivery of 'as I was saying, I am a woman and can't be taken for granted. Lifes a bitch, now so am I' as she dangled Batman of a building with her whip sends shivers up and down my spine every time I hear it. Ding dong. The sleep of reason breeds monsters. |
