Well to anybody who read my blog entitled “be careful out there” here is an update.
There was a pub watch meeting in my town and it turns out that because the person who assaulted me is my local's landlady's favourite person, he won't be banned. What makes matters worse is that she set up the pub watch in the first place. It makes a farce of the whole thing. If somebody assaults somebody else in a pub then admits it, then is charged and cautioned you would think that they should be banned for a period of time. Not so in my town. It's who you know not what a wanker you are that counts
