Hello, I am a qualified gas fitter/ plumber though not currently registered as I do not presently work on gas. Can still do it safely though. I presently do work for a Domme in the Wolverhampton area who is happy to give a reference if required.
Let me know what you need doing and perhaps we can discuss it further. NF

You need to edit your blog. Centred text with one word to a line looks horrible and is hard to read. You are professionals at least make your website look professional. I am sure you do all sorts of wonderful things, but I didn't read past the first few lines. Science, the only religion that works even if you don't believe in it.

still illegal though... the whole point of being GAS SAFE registered is so you don't get random shits coming in and ballsing up your gas, killing everyone in the process. i'm sure you are what you say you are, but if you're not registered you wouldn't be coming anywhere near my gas!

No, the fact that someone is registered or not registered is not the problem. Paper does not stop a gas leak. Its wether they know what they are doing or not. The registration system is a load of crap anyway, just another way of filling Government coffers. Qualifications, experience and competency are what makes someone able to do a safe and good job !

(As a point of interest! Not sure if it's the European Parliament or our very own Parliament are proposing to introduce a similar registration system for Electrical Work) Mr Smacker

sorry, maybe i didnt write it the right way, what i meant to say is that the 'gassafe' and 'corgi' PROVES that you know what you're doing, whereas if you dont have the lisence then even somoen like me who has no trasining could look up a few phrases on the net and make it sound like i knew what i was doing.

So someone says they are CORGI registered and they show you a piece of paper. Do you implicitly trust them then? Do you not think they might have knocked it up on Word so they can charge £95 per Hour? I wouldn't let any one near my boiler unless they'd been personally recommended to me. Domestic gas has a smell added so you notice it leaking. Carbon monoxide doesn't. It is a silent killer. Buy yourself a carbon monoxide detector. Take it with you on holiday. Don't wake up dead. End of Public Service Broadcast. Edited to add Tesco sell carbon monoxide detectors for less than £20. Edited 27 Sep 09, 11:08 PM by a_cunt |
