Conventional wisdom is that kink events tend to be a little flat at this time of year. Conventional wisdom can sometimes be bollocks.
Friday night was Oblivion. It's not an event I can easily get to, but always enjoy it when I can get there. The place was really busy. It was filled with loads of lovely people and I was able to put a few faces to names. I also had the pleasure of tying a lovely rope bra on a gorgeous lady. I'm not talking about breast bondage, or triangular rope pads over the nipples. This was a structural device which properly supports the boobs and shows them off well. It's a bit like a quarter cup bra and seems to work quite nicely. I really must get round to taking photographs of how it's done.
Then Saturday was Ann and Roly's. We were apprehensive about the party initially because apart from it being holiday time, there were a lot of other events scheduled against it and we feared that numbers might be down. As the day neared, it became obvious that the numbers were looking very good indeed.
On the day we got the usual rush of last minute e-mails and memos and of course some were sent after we're already starting the workshop, so not much chance of replying to those ones on time. As usual, a few people had to pull out at the last minute and a small number failed to show, but we had a greater number of lovely extra bods who turned up unannounced, so numbers were slightly greater than expected.
As usual Rebecca was a star. She was house slave again and although things were initially a little slow for her, it soon gathered pace and she was kept rather busy throughout the night and went away with quite a naughty smile on her face.
We had a guy who said he wanted to be tied & teased and brought close to orgasm. We love to give people what they ask for - especially if we can do it in our own special way.
Well tying him up was easy, he was hooded too and couldn't see a thing. The suspension frame provided excellent support for him in a standing position. Ann did her prick teasing bit, but we knew he wanted to be brought close to orgasm, but to be denied orgasm.
Step forward the lovely Rebecca, who was stripped naked and had her boobs thrust into the chest of our victim and was pressed against him. I'll spare you the details of what was done to her, but she ended up writhing about like nobody's business, making a lot of noise and pushing hard against him all the time. How much closer can a guy get to orgasm than that ? He didn't specify who's orgasm he was to be brought close to. You couldn't have got a fag paper between them !
As the evening progressed the place filled up quite nicely. It's a huge venue and we didn't know how many people will sensibly fit into it, but we've now got quite a clear idea.
We don't have a compulsory dress code, but most of the guests dressed wonderfully and there were many stunning outfits. Things were getting busy. There are three smaller play rooms, together with the huge main room and of course the private rooms too. At one point I was looking to see what was available for use and realised that absolutely every room and every bit of gear was in use simultaneously. That's just how we like it to be.
We had initially been wary of having multiple rooms as it might have meant that the play became fragmented and it might appear from the chilling areas that not much was happening. In practice, it's worked very well and people were able to make good use of the different facilities and progressed around the place throughout the evening.
It's great fun organising a party, but the only real downside is that you don't get much of an opportunity for play. Attending other people's parties is becoming an increasingly tempting proposition.
Our parties finish at 2 am. Yeah right !! Guests were still there at 3 and we were happy for them to be there too. You can't have too much of the company of lovely people. Ironically, some of the last to leave were those who had a 100 mile journey ahead of them. Now that's what I call dedication.
As always, immense thanks to all who came along. The thing that makes our parties work is the fabulous mix of guests. I don't quite know how we manage it, but we seem to keep bringing in the most wonderful kinksters in the area and some extremely wonderful kinksters from well outside of the area too.

It certainly seems like you've taken off in a big way. It is wonderful to know that people really are making successes of the hard work and dedication they put in. It's a shame we couldn't make either this weekend, I am rather poorly and we had to stay in as I was in danger of going back in to hospital again, my blood sugars were high and there was a big concern I might go acidotic,
