I know a few too.
I don't see how *not* having a clothing fetish makes a CPer less pure or specialist? CPers often like hosiery, pencil skirts and smart shoes. CP doesn't have to exclude these to be considered a fetish in its own right.

Maybe some of the guys I meet are not in the 'CP scene' ( we can discuss what that means later) but they see me for CP only and I don't have to dress up in a particular way or do schoolboy spanking scenarios.
Some are just CP masochists who like to be laid down on the massage table and gradually beaten harder and harder for the sheer pleasure of the painful experience. I think the only thing they need is a willing sadist, that is me, to reassure them that the CP gives me a big turn on and then they have all they need.
There are many varieties of CP lover and not all fit into the neat stereotypes that abound.

I can readily confirm what Ms Valentine has written here, almost to the letter. In my own case it is not an absolute requirement for Mistress to be wearing particular clothing, or even playing a particular role. It *is* a good thing though that Mistress is getting a lot of sadistic pleasure from administering the punishment. |

I'm confused by your grammar in the first sentence. Do you mean 'more', rather than 'less'?
In any case, my comments were about what I believe the evolution of CP will be, and my belief is that there will be fewer trappings associated with it in future, as younger generations without prior institutional contexts become CPers.

I don't think CP will evolve at all as there are many ways of enjoying it right now.
I's agree with you if you are saying that perhaps the traditional school scene scenario will become less popular. I suspect I am wrong though as there are currently subs in their 20s who enjoy the retro feel of days gone by. Regarding other trappings though ie clothing, I think they will always be there. I must admit I have a fetish for sharp heels and stockings added to my liking for corpun. A lot of dommes who specialise in CP tend to dress in the way Lady Anna suggests: a kind of sexier version of a traditional headmistress. Leather and boots tend to be more of a BDSM thing. |

Possibly less and less as those of who experienced it at school are at least 35. I was referring more to the corpun scene than other aspects of BDSM, which is often a separate scene. Dommes who specialise in corpun often don't offer other BDSM services- I know locally Auntie Jennifer had no interest in opening a dungeon. |

Speaking as somone who never recieved CP at school or home (im 30 just for the record) i do not think for a second the interest in CP from adults will ever fade away.
My thoughts are based on the fact that as far back as i can remember i have been obsessed with bottoms and spanking (looking at female bottoms and having mine spanked)this i think is a harmless kink i was born with atlough i keep it hidden like a dirty little secret as i just dont think my friends and family would understand. |

I agree it may be interesting, but it would be a mistake to assume that all of us who can remember CP in school, take that as the basis of our ongoing sub-life careers. I was at school in the fifties and sixties, and was caned, but it was not the pivotal experience for me that it has proved to be for others. For me the primary experience came outside of school and did not involve CP, which I have been fairly leery of until relatively recently. |
