Perhaps it's the mention of boy butter that scares them off

Boy butter and needles? Where do I sign up?

It doesn't matter if you're sub or dom. If someone is bothering you just block them. Same goes to any profle on any other sites. |

Stalking is a legal term and I don't think 7 emails in one day is illegal and you couldn't get an injunction against it as harrassment but if you don't want emails from someone just reply and say not interested and most people then desist.

Or there's always the block option! I don't allow feeble little 'men' to wind me up/annoy me

I find the scary dommes the most appealing ones But I'm not a memo sender though.

Oh dear, sometimes I do find it rather embarrassing to be male, I don't know why but this does seem to be a kind of male thing.
I'm not like this at all, I'm not a sub, but if I don't hear back from someone, that's usually it, I move on. Even if I've been mailing someone for sometime, and they suddenly stop replying, I might send a "hey, what's up" but that'll be it, I don't beg or pester, lol. I don't have the time or inclination
So even though I am male, or maybe especially because I am male, I will offer my sympathy and can only wish it were different.

| IAWTC. I don't think it helps to conflate an issue of a specific case, with the idea of male subs vs female doms in general. There have been lots of blaming threads, in both directions. Chances are the guy causing the problem isn't even reading this thread.Sign the Consenting Adult Action Network's statement

stalking!!
first of all i have to say that i have read so many threads started by male subs saying how hard it is to find a domme....i rarely read anything by a female domme saying the same, though sometimes i think that i will never meet someone i like. this thread is a little bit more serious than me whinging about not having found my soul mate on ic.
its about the belief that some male subs have that i and other women on here are here for their use, their needs and to be stalked and given abuse if we dont meet those needs.
im sick of it, and im sick of female dommes being blamed on threads for the reason these subs cant even get someone to say hello to them.
i checked my mail a little while ago and found 7 memos from one sub sent today...i havent even read the first...and when i did it was asking about a message on another site...when i check that site there are 2 messages on there...
this is stalking regaurdless of how you look at it, and while the messages are so far nice enough...i know from experience how quickly they can turn abusive and nasty.
anyway rant over...but i just wanted to share how pissed off some guys on here make me.

it happens with male doms too...if it takes me more than 2 days to reply to someone i often get a memo saying "are we still talking" and I'm thinking shhhhessssh! insure? much?
what can I say, there are a ,lot of insecure people out there It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice xx

If they start harassing and chasing up replies to memos I click the block button.
My time is my own and they have no right to ask me to hurry up! “If you find it hard to laugh at yourself, I would be happy to do it for you.”

Real life stalking is frightening, it's happened to me in the '80's and only the intervention of the police and some rather 'special' men stopped the man. He followed me around town, used to appear from behind a hedge when I was walking home from work, I caught him sitting on my doorstep at night and peering through the curtains etc. I didn't have a phone at the time so was unable to call for assistance but the boys in blue and those lovely chaps in khaki finally did the trick.
I never say if I going to an event in advance nowadays as I have had persistant 'whip me mistress' memos where no has not been taken for an answer - I've then been followed around the event and generally pestered by being looked at with hopeful puppy dog expressions - when I say no it means NO. There is a line between admiration and being a pest and I don't think that sending off umpteen memos is stalking, but it can so easily turn into a real life issue. What is a Caracal?
