Thoughts and questions ![]()
Ok, first off the question part!
i am seriously thinking about venturing to a fetish
night held locally in the near future. i know what is
the dress requirement, so i ask all Y/you good folk to
PLEASE point me the direction of somewhere 1- cheap, 2-
reasonable quality and 3-fairly quick to deliver
With cheap being the main concern. It seems daft to blow a load of cash on something to wear, only to find out i don't like the stuff! (or don't like the night, and so on)
And while i also would like some help on deciding what might look good, i think thats a bit too much to ask for really, given none of Y/you know what i look like and stuff!
Not asking much, eh :P
And now the thoughts.....
At this point in time, i don't think i have a fetish related to clothing (hence the problems chosing an outfit). So i say the following from a totally unbiased point of view...
And preface it with i've never been to a fetish club
as of yet, and have only had a brief list
of 'acceptable fetishwear' mentioned to me. And also
that i know that different places have different
rules ![]()
Isn't it potentially offensive to be turned away from a Fetish club because your idea of Fetish & Fetishwear doesn't fit theirs?
i know a large reason for the dressing up a certain way is to keep 'joe public' away, but i don't know that i think that is a big enough reason to offend someone that much.
Many, if not all of U/us know how uncertain W/we were/are at the start of the discovery of this side of U/us. Imagine being in that state of mind, desperate to connect with people, to make friends, to work up the courage to walk into a place in an outfit that is the thing of your fantasies, into a place where everyone else is wearing what makes them feel wierd and wonderful, only to be turned away because they don't consider whatever to be fetish (head to toe denim, infact, head to toe anything that isn't leather rubber or pvc, full sport kit, and so on)
As i'm writing i wonder if a male in female attire would be let in??? That is certainly a fetish, but it's not on the prescribed 'fetishwear list'
Then there's also the 'rule bending' that seems to be allowed if couples attend together, but i'm not gonna go into that! Although i am wondering if more leeway is allowed if someone is a regular attendee (or is friends with the doorman)
That's all i can write on the topic semi-clearly without talking in circles!
i seem to be getting good at the pointless ramble, eh?
