Be careful out there (3)

Haven't been on the blogs for a bit because … whatever!! Anyway got assaulted outside my local pub. Long story oh sod it it's my blog.

I knew somebody for about 30 years, we grew up together his parents went through a really acrimonies divorce. It made him a winging half glass full kind of guy and for some reason really jealous of me. That I could put up with however and I tried to support him as a friend. What I could not put up with was his back stabbing bitching towards me and then I found out about the jealously (which I found out was going on for a few years) so I decide to blank the tosser 5 years ago.

Life is too short from my point of view. Anyway last Saturday he punched me for no apparent reason! It turns out that he had still been brooding about the situation (5 year ago) while I got on with my life, mental health issues perhaps, there are a lot of people like him out there and is difficult to avoid them and without being melodramatic, I could have been seriously hurt of killed all because of a inadequate tosser who fixated on me Be careful out there

Wow! that must have been awful. Imagine the quality of his life though going through it focussing on you. How much goodness has that man missed out on.

Hope you are ok after the incident.

Had a similar stiuation, although did not get punched, had someone i know hiss in my ear in a really nasty way, long story i wont go into, i put up with this until he then started picking on a lady as well, the next bit am not proud of, he got up and went out the back for a ciggarette, so i followed him, i didn't hit him, but i scared the living poo out of him. Am not always so submissive

Have nothing against drugs, but when people get like that, ahhh!

Thank you for your replies (got to get that reply visibly thing sorted out) Anyway something my boss said to a female collogue once stuck in my mind, She had a problem with another member of staff he said “so stop taking him home with you then” then added “in your head” after the look of shock and indignation (only he could have got away with that!!) point being if you let somebody affect you that much You might as well be living with them 27/7 and them getting at you all the time.

thats something my ex friend should think about and yes from what I can gather he has missed out on so much goodness in life. By rights I should have been jealous of him; he had a wife and three kids where as I am single and approaching 50 but because of the way he is he has lost it all and of course its not his fault.

Anyway the up shot of this incident is he has been cautioned by the police and I hope that is the end of it. I am still a little shaken but ok

Life it too short for boring sex
