By eight in the evening the air has been stirred with a teaspoonful of honey and a handful of lavender. Of the many things that I love about the El Born in Barcelon's Gothic quarter it's the light that delights me most.

some stunning pictures there...the glassblower, the woman cleaning the strange glass door and the wonderful hand door knocker. The buildings are super too and I liked the study of people on balconies

Not to rub it in or anything but I've never been rained on in bcn. The long range forecast for this jaunt had 3 days of rain and storms, but ne'er a drop did fall.

And when the heat tells you it is the time for mad dogs and Englishmen, the paint peeled, sun blistered shutters have their backs turned t'wards the sun and in the shadows she is cast down on to cotton sheets. To the sound of the bells of Santa Maria del Mar she communes with her a mad dog and Englishman.

I am always in heat in Barcelona.
