I was a sound tech on a BBC Roundhouse Prom in 1974 or so - haven't set foot inside it since. But we're planning to go next week! 'Twosies beats onesies, but nothing beats three...' Edited 11 Aug 09, 2:39 PM by rodm99

There is the West London Munch on friday, with a caning demo. I will be taking some white choc chip and cranberry flapjacks. The flapjacks will be my home made ones. There is a fine line between sanity and insanity. I have a foot firmly planted either side of that line Edited 11 Aug 09, 11:18 PM by Kinky_Vidushaka

If you could get to Clapham Junction train station I could collect you from there then drive you home after the munch. There will be other people I pick up and drop off (2 usually) to and from it.

Could I maybe offer a waterbus trip in the afternoon to Camden lock? Maybe with lunch before or dinner after on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday - sorry, after that I leave for two weeks - or alternatively anything else you like to explore in Portobello, Notting Hill and Bayswater, where I live. I'd love to show you the area. Alternatively we could hang out in Soho, Brick Lane Area, Hampstead Heath, Kensington or wherever else you like or go with a Thames boat to Greenwich or go to the Royal Academy or have tea in that old fashioned tea house in Regents Street - more options welcome... I don't know you but you sound nice and I would love to invite you for an afternoon or evening or both and make it enjoyable for you. I am sure it would be an interesting exchange and great fun - and I could really need a break from my weeks of nightly work and meet a nice person to spend an August day with before I go to Germany. I can't do mornings currently, because I am still in a night rhythm. Have a nice day Michael |
