I have a homegrown, homemade, organic raspberry vodka at the keyboard...aaaand relax.
Currently spending a long weekend in my family home down in the shire. The same home with innumerate thwacky, stabby items and pieces of militaria that are my authoritarian parents pride and joy all over the walls.
Mother dearest has already passed comment on my appearance ('I didn't think people wore fire-engine red lipstick and corsetry outside of the red light district nowadays, let alone to work').
I've not actually sat down to watch any TV in weeks.Just when I thought that my seedy sadistic Mancunian life was many miles of train track behind me, I settle down on the sofa with the cat to watch New Tricks with my parents and I see Dennis 'Write the theme tune, sing the theme tune' Waterman eyeing up a film noir blonde tightly bound to a chair talking about Bondage, Domination and Sadomasochism.
The world has gone topsy-turvy. Time for some sloe gin and home-bottled peaches....
