Well it is now 12 weeks since we got married!! And I guess I should put up a couple of anecdotes as promised.
So, there is Master and I, all newly married getting into the wedding car when about 8 of our guests come up and ask the way to the park for the photographs, they are all in a line outside the registry office in their vehicles when I see my father pull out of the car park in his red van.
'theres dad, follow that van, he knows where he is going' so off the cars go, following dear old daddy in his red van.
meanwhile Master and I are waiting in the car, Master asking my why we cannot go yet and me trying to explain that we are waiting for a phone call to say that everyone has arrived, thing is, neither he nor my friends in the car did not know about the pony cart. So i am trying to keep them all yapping about anything when my phone goes and the following is the conversation as best i can remember it.
Guest 'er...morgan....we followed your dad as you suggested, all 8 vehicles, down the road, across the roundabout, along the main road and into the morrisons car park, we all got out to follow your dad thinking this is where we park and..er....he went into morrisons, we did follow then all realised, when we saw him pick up a basket, that he was doing a little bit of shopping'
i am so sorry to the person who called as i fell about the car in bits, explaining to Master and friends what had happened, then they fell about, imagining this group of people following dear old daddy in his red shirt and buttonhole into morrisons, dressed in leather trousers, dresses and skirts, black, red, clothing, corsets and so on and so forth.
eventually i got my breath back and explained they were not far from their target, and they all jumped into their cars and went round the corner.
Were you one of the people who followed dear old daddy?? If so why not tell us your side of the story??
poor dad doesnt even know yet what happened and i cannot wait to tell him!!

Not guilty  We went straight to the registers office from the hotel but I would have loved seeing every ones faces when they realised poor daddy was just doing his shopping…. It was a great day and you're a wonderful couple…. Thank you for the invite J The highest fences we have to climb, are those we have built within our mind |

Yeah, that was us! Wedding photography is always a nightmare! He'd parked up, and by the time we'd found a space, he'd just vanished! Ran about the car park looking for him, but no sign! Thank heaven for mobile phones! Why poison your liver when I could eat it for you? |
