I can only echo others' comments and sentiments. She was a good friend, a compassionate, willing and friendly soul. We did lose touch. Why do we lose touch? She was one of those that gave me the confidence to acknowledge my feelings and needs and to have the strength to come out. She will me missed by all those that knew her. Demmie, as one of the 'old crowd', I am deeply saddened by the untimely death of Heather/Calluna. Please convey my heartfelt condolences to Andi and her family. I remember Calluna as a vibrant, bubbly character, always one of the first to excitedly greet me on my arrival at the pre-Bridge munch. The sincerity, integrity and honour she displayed, at ease, should be a shining example for other submissives to follow; the friendhsip an example to all. There will be another star twinkling in the night skies as Calluna watches over us. nikki

Her passing is a loss to the community. She loved and lived life to the full, as has been said a stalwart in supporting new munches when things were not as relaxed or as easy as they are today. Many years ago I took the plunge, Googled BDSM in the UK and went to the first munch I found. There was calluna as part of a very small welcoming crowd. We got to know each other well and calluna let me take my first steps as a Dom entering the scene. I got to know her and her family very well over the years and calluna and Andi are among my closest friends. I am in the US at the moment so can't be with them. My depest condollences go to them all.
