I will be going to Berlin in mid August for a week.
Any idea what I should check out as far as clubs, parties, markets, shops go?

there is a fair amount of kinky shopping to be done, I can't remember all the places we went in November but I love blackstyle http://blackstyle.de/ mostly mens rubber wear but their womens range is getting bigger and they have loads of lovely stuff (I will admit to just wanting to sniff when I went in but I love the smell of latex). | |

http://www.peitschenhandel.de/shop/ was a shop worth visiting. They do mail order but open their doors a few hours a week to customers who want to come in and buy direct instead. Friendly, welcoming and have stacks of leaflets regarding clubs and other events on. The Berlin Munch is nice and friendly, though I can't remember the web address for that. Club-wise I'm not sure what to recommend, the one we went to had great kit, but it was rather dead, just us one other couple and the staff (there were other things on that night and it was snowing so that may have accounted for the lack of other patrons). Anyway, I hope you have a great visit.

I'm moving there soon. I love the city. This place in Prenzlauer Berg is cool: -Leathers- Schliemannstrasse 38 10437 Berlin Deutschland www.leathers.de A great little shop with a workshop next door On Mehringdamm (Kreuzberg/Tempelhoff): -Slacks- Mehringdamm 75 10965 Berlin Deutschland www.slacks.de Is a nice little store And nearby: -Plaste Elaste- Bergmannstrasse 15 10961 Berlin Deutschland www.plaste-elaste.com More goth but still q interesting Places I intend to check out are -Gargoyle Club- www.gargoyle-berlin.de -Insomnia Club- www.insomnia-berlin.de they have a 'dark market' at the Duncker Club once a month www.dunckerclub.de There's loads more too - Berlin is a very kinky city it seems! There's a little booklet that I found in a few goth/alternative shops listing fetish and goth events for the month - It's definitely worth you trying to find one of those.
