From IKnit-"So, Antony Gormley's Fourth Plinth project has been running for a week and we've already seen some remarkable sights...but don't forget that tonight is the night for the knitters! Randomly chosen, there's not one, but TWO knitters taking their place on the plinth. First it's Marian Cinnamond from 6pm to 7pm, then our very own Alix McCulloch takes her place from 10pm to 11pm. Take your knitting along, make a night of it and cheer them on!"

If you can't be there.
Oh and I forgot to tell you a story. I was in Brighton the other day having breakfast and the chef asked about my knitting, so I was having what I thought was a private conversation about sockies when someone else chimed in "It's very popular in London nowadays."
