Oooh, my Aunt did this a few months ago. Good luck. Hope you've got something more sturdy than Converse x Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read. ~ Groucho Marx

You should see me- fully kitted out in walker attire. I almost look like one of the rambling society. Almost.

Haha, I used to hike. Hope all goes well with training!
Also, I must ask; do you wear tweed? Exx "What you blush to tell", says Venus, "is the most important part of the whole matter"

I do; frequently, but never to walk in!

Bah. Nothing better than a good dash of tweed paired with a decent walking cane for an evening stroll. But then again, we do go to rather secluded woodlands with said walking canes Exx "What you blush to tell", says Venus, "is the most important part of the whole matter"

It's very rare you'll hear me say this, but for this particular activity I go for comfort over style everytime!

Glad to hear it, when I first saw this blog I had images of you trying to do it in corset and heels. "Have people always been this angry? I've got this really funny idea that before the internet people would just write FUCK YOU! and attach it to pigeons" - Russell Howard

I think some new walking boots may be in order- my current ones tend to leak...and I have seen some in pink. I intend to do the 6 day Yorkshire Dales walk before this one and combine it with some climbing and hand gliding. I'm also taking the little one as he's become quite the walking enthusiast himself. I'm far more excited about this than I should be!

Oh god, please take my man with you. I can't bare walking with him. His idea of a pleasant walk invariably leaves me in tears facing a stumble up or down a vertical hillside with a perfectly serviceable meandering path nearby.
